Caulerpa brachypus is a fast growing and easy to care for macro algae, requiring medium brightness lighting or better. Excellent for sumps to remove nitrates and phosphate or in main display. Can be fed as a nutritional meal to tangs and similar. This macro algae can be placed anywhere in the aquarium and is excellent for Refugium. Regular trimming is essential, as a fast growing macroalgae it may out compete slower growing species and corals.
